PROVISION: JOTRA Academy is a private Beauty Therapy and Holistic Training School offering ITEC qualifications in Bristol Gloucestershire Somerset Wiltshire and South Wales.
MISSION STATEMENT: JOTRA Beauty and Holistic Academy is committed to achieving excellence in the standards of teaching, and increasing the quality of its Beauty and Holistic Therapy courses to enable its students achieve the confidence and ability to succeed in their chosen pathway. LOCATION: The Academy is located in the beautiful country setting of Aust, near the River Severn close to the Old Severn Bridge which is quickly and easily accessed from Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset Wiltshire and Wales via the M32 M5 M4 M48 motorway links, or by bus and train. There is ample free parking at the Academy, and plenty of accommodation available with places to eat all within walking distance. WHO ARE WE: Tracy & John Haynes are Directors and owners of JOTRA Beauty & Holistic Academy. They have over 27 years hands on Beauty & Holistic Industry experience. From owning and operating their own Beauty Salons across the Bristol and Gloucestershire area, to working directly for Internationally recognised Beauty & Holistic companies and cosmetic brands. They work very closely with the Industry Governing bodies to ensure JOTRA Academy provides its students with the very best in training and appropriate qualifications to ensure they are industry ready.
Tracy is ACADEMY PRINCIPAL, well known and held in the highest regard in the Beauty & Holistic Industry. She has a wealth of experience, knowledge, and extensive industry experience with many qualifications not least:

John is ACADEMY DIRECTOR, responsible for the day to day running and managing of the business. He has over 30 years business experience running international companies, working closely with major Beauty and Cosmetic houses known throughout the World.
RECOGNITION: of JOTRA excellence and performance indicators:
• An ITEC Centre of Excellence with all students passing exams with a mix of Credit and Distinction.
• As a training centre for many well known brands including a National Health & Fitness Club
• As an authorised Training centre for the latest industry treatments
• Links with ‘The Business Enterprise Centre’ (Part of Weston College) in supporting their Beauty & Holistic Tuition.
• Retained by Salons, Spas and centres across Europe for placement of students
TRUST: All of our tutors are employed by JOTRA. They are industry experienced and qualified to teach with certificates in education. We teach from qualified teaching material which meets the full criteria and syllabus as laid down against the Governments QCF. JOTRA Beauty & Holistic Academy is a recognised certified and insured provider able to award you with UK and International qualifications that are recognised by industry employers and Companies here and abroad. You will be able to gain employment and insurance to practice immediately* you leave us (*Refers to ITEC)
GUIDANCE & SUPPORT: You will receive continual guidance and support throughout your Course, including additional electronic support via web portal where appropriate. The Academy may provide one to one additional learning support upon request.
Student support continues long after you leave us, whether that be advice about further training or getting employment, to setting up in business for yourself.

• Carry all the required liability insurance to operate and so do our tutors.
• Are a registered ITEC Centre authorised to deliver ITEC courses
• Provide courses that are industry recognised enabling you to gain immediate employment
• Provide qualifications enabling you to work throughout the world
• Are accredited by ABT enabling you to gain insurance to practice when you leave us.
• Inform you of all the associated costs so there are no surprises.
• Provide additional support for students when requested.
• Hold personal interviews to help you with your choices to achieve your goals.
• Only use approved course material that is sanctioned by our governing bodies.
• Cover the entire syllabus ensuring students are competent at each stage.
• Go beyond the recommended face to face learning hours.
• Give minimal home coursework, and maximum in class teaching and practical sessions
• Keep our class sizes to a minimum with no more than ten students per class.
• Provide the best learning aids & teaching material possible.
• Run commercial salon days for students, to gain extremely valuable experience
• Understand that each student is an individual, and show patience and understanding.
• Monitor each student progress with guidance to succeed.
• Monitor our performance and that of our tutors
• Have exceptional tutors that receive continual professional development.
